EMAS Study Tour to East Anglia

The EMAS Autumn Study Tour will be to East Anglia, an area rich in archaeological sites of all periods. We will be based in Kings Lynn, which had developed into one of the country's foremost ports by the 12th century.

Sites that we will visit include the Grimes Graves Neolithic Flint Mines; The late 3rd century 'Saxon Shore' fort at Burgh Castle and Branodunum Fort; The Anglo-Saxon church of St Benet in Cambridge; The Priory of our Lady of Thetford; The Blackfriars Church in Norwich, and the spectacular angel roof in the Church of St Wendreda in March and the Cow Tower - an early artillery tower by the River Wensum in Norwich.

The cost of this study tour is £491 per person in a twin/double room, £633 per person in a single room.
